Residential fire-rated door requirements is fire resistance rating divided into:90 minute fire rated residential doors,1 hour fire rated door residential and Residential fire rated doors with glass.
When are fire doors required in residential property?
Landlords also have a legal duty of care to ensure that their tenants and properties are safe. HMO Landlords (Houses in Multiple Occupation) must install half hour (FD30) protective fire doors on all habitable rooms leading to a stairwell, complete with closers and intumescent strip seals. Building regulations for homeowners / single dwellings require fire doors to be installed in 2 storey houses with a door leading from a garage into a house and new build/improved domestic properties that have 3 or more storeys (including loft conversions) where fire doors must be fitted to every habitable room that comes off the stairwell. *Of course, these are all subject to changes within the law so please keep up-to-date via the links below.
Fire door residential range consists of doors with a 46mm nominal door thickness, with fire resistance levels (FRL) of up to 180 minutes, depending on product configuration.
Fire Rated Doors range includes:
Single Fire Door with FRL up to 120 minutes (select from 30, 90 or 120 minutes)
Double/Paired Fire Door with FRL up to 120 minutes (select from 30, 60 or 120 minutes)
Single Fire Door with FRL up to 180 minutes (select from 30, 60, 120, or 180 minutes)
Fire door residential Maximum sizes are available up to:
3000 High x 1220 Wide for MAXI Single Fire Doors 
2700 High x 1220 Wide for MAXI Double Fire Doors
Fire door residential are equipped with metal reinforcing plates to accommodate all hardware locations (for example, up to four hinges, closer, lock, and firebolts where applicable) for long-term durability.
All Fire Doors include an innovative core, designed and tested to strictly conform to AS1905.1-2015, ensuring optimum protection while being free from asbestos and other inorganic fibres.
The range is available with Vision Panels. MAXI Fire Doors are available with Air Grilles. Fire Tags can also be provided upon order.
